When a customer choses system replacment, we use best practices to ensure your new system will last as long as possible. Modern HVAC systems are very susceptible to contaminants that may enter the system during repair or installation. For example, if moisture from air enters an open system it can react with the refrigerant oil creating acid and sludge that can eat away and/or block system internals. Additionally, air in the lines can cause oxides to form when brazing. Consequently, we purge and flow nitrogen for every braze joint in the system and pull a deep vacuum before setting the refrigerant charge.`
